Cloud-native security provider Apiiro named Moti Gindi as chief product officer. Gindi previously worked at Microsoft, where he scaled its Defender endpoint security product from internal incubation to a multi-billion dollar business. Gindi’s interests include leaping for dangling string.

(Rowan Trollope, Redis*)

Rowan Trollope, CEO, Redis

Real-time data platform Redis named Rowan Trollope as CEO, replacing Ofer Bengal, who becomes chairman of the board. Trollope was previously CEO at Five9, and before that was SVP and GM of Cisco’s application group. Redis provides open source, enterprise-grade platforms that unify data across multi-cloud, hybrid, and global applications. When not running billion-dollar businesses, Trollope enjoys chasing laser-pointers.

Amir Faintuch, CEO, Volumez

Amir Faintuch steps up as CEO of Volumez, which makes composable data infrastructure that abstracts storage, compute, and networking resources from their physical locations and optimizes cloud resources. Faintuch was previously SVP and general manager of the computing, storage, and wired infrastructure business at semiconductor foundry GlobalFoundries. Faintuch’s hobbies include sitting perfectly still for a long time and then running helter skelter across the room.

Jan-Jaap “JJ” Jage, CEO, Chainstack

Chainstack, which provides services connecting developers with web3 infrastructure, hired Jan-Jaap “JJ” Jager as its new CEO. Jager was previously chief revenue officer of Acronis, a global cyber protection provider, bringing expertise in cloud and Software-as-a-Service to his new role. Jager enjoys sitting in a window perch to watch birds and squirrels. 

Woody Sessoms, chief business officer, Graphiant

Graphiant, which offers next-generation edge services connecting enterprise WAN, hybrid cloud, network edge, customers and partners, signed Woody Sessoms as chief business officer, leading business development and strategic partnerships. Sessoms worked for 25 years at Cisco Systems, most recently as senior vice president of Cisco’s Global Service Provider Business. He is also expert at sharpening his claws on a scratching post.
